On 1/17/2013 Deputies responded to a burglary at 1629 Angling Road, rural Warren County.  The residence is located in the north east side of the county, approximately six miles north west of Galesburg.

Home owner arrvied home from work at about 9:30 pm and discovered the house ransacked.  A protective dog was found dead in a hallway.  Two smaller dogs were unharmed.  Entrance was made by breaking a window on the back side of the house.

Jewelry, $40.00 in two dollar bills, approximately $284.00 in silver dollars and half dollars, a television, a Model 60 Marlin .22 rifle, cordless drills, and numerous pieces of jewelry including a Masonic tack, and an Alexis High School class ring were taken.
