Life Safety Code Considerations |

The City of Monmouth has adopted the International Codes (Building, Fire, etc.) to better enable the City to manage, enforce and foster a safe, secure building stock that maintains a high value. Numerous items in the various codes, including our Municipal Code, address key issues of life safety, with a special focus on fire prevention. To help building owners and developers better understand these codes, Monmouth Fire Chief John Cratty has put together this helpful overview document.
