Monmouth Flowers for Less Garden Center Open House/The Kitchen

Remember April 20th from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. is our Spring Open House!  Come join us - there will be Sales and Prizes!  It will be a good day to visit The Kitchen and sample some Linda's delicious food and goodies! Come on out for a fun day! Anyone who does crafts is welcome to come set up.  There is no charge for space to set up.  Linda believes it is important to support local. Come join the day!  See below for The Kitchen hours and what they have to offer.

 
"The Kitchen" is Open!!!

Linda Putnam has opened "The Kitchen" at 1343 South Main Street, Monmouth, IL.  This is not only a restaurant, but also a Bakery featuring pies, breads, cakes, candies and more. Linda's vision is to utilize locally grown or raised products to create a sustainable business as well as helping other local businesses and offering fresh, healthy foods and baked goods. There is currently seating for a few people, but Carry-Out is available. Everything will be home cooked, with Daily Specials as well as home made soups. In the bakery they will have a Diabetic line.  She also has home made Jams and Jellies for sale.  Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, but the bakery is open 7:30 a.m. -  4:00 p.m.  Phone 309-221-3549

Help a Good Cause – Get $50

For every residential fridge or freezer you recycle through the ActOnEnergy efficiency program, you will receive $50 and the nonprofit group named will receive a $10 referral bonus.

Please call 1-866-899-9088 to schedule your FREE refrigerator/freezer pickup weekdays from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.

You must meet the following requirements:  1) Be an Ameren Illinois electric customer  2) appliance is full size 910-27 cubic feet and is in working (cooling) condition  3)  Pick up is from a residence, not a business

Call 734-4251 today and we will give you our group ID # so that the Jamieson Center can profit $10 for each refrigerator/freezer that is picked up.  Thank you!

 
Warren Achievement Center Van Service

Warren Achievement Center now has a new Fixed Route running Monday - Wednesday - Friday, making 21 stops around the City of Monmouth.  For more information, call 309-734-6001.  Ride cards are available.
