Enterprise Zone Sales Tax Exempt Form
This form may be used to apply for sales tax exemption on building materials that are used within Monmouth's Enterprise Zone.

The City of Monmouth has application forms and licenses for a variety of businesses. The forms here may be downloaded, filled out and brought to the City Clerk's office at City Hall along with the appropriate license fee. Special Event License
The special event license allows an organization or merchants' association to hold an event on public property with allowable alcohol. Proper liquor licensing and insurance is required, and City Council must approve the special event license.
Tree Trimming License
The tree trimming license fee is $25 a year.
Tree trimming businesses may not cut or trim trees in the City of Monmouth until they have obtained a license from the City Clerk. Proof of bonding and insurance is required.
Secondhand Store License
The secondhand store license fee is $25 a year and must be filed with the City Clerk's office.
Secondhand goods are defined as goods which are resold by the dealer. Secondhand goods, however, do not include junk, which is defined as rags, old rope, paper or bagging, old iron, brass, copper or empty bottles.
Use this form to apply for a license to sell alcoholic liquor in the City of Monmouth. License approval will require a background check and fingerprinting for new license applicants. Please note that there are only a limited number of liquor licenses available for each class. Please check with the City Clerk's office for availability before submitting the application.
