Rental Property Registration |

The Open Registration period for landlords to register their properties for the 2012 year has passed. Standard registration fees now apply for landlords who register their property from January 17th, 2012 until the end of the year (though there is no fee to register as a new property owner if done within 10 days of property transfer).
Landlord's will need to register each local rental property (not rental unit) they own. Non-local landlords will be required to indicate a local agent for their property. Failure to register a rental property may subject the landlord to penalties above and beyond the standard registration fees (as per Section 123.12 of Ordinance 11-023)
To register, please stop by the Zoning Office at City Hall during normal business hours.
Rental property registration fees are:
- $25 annually for a single family dwelling
- $35 annually for a structure containing 2-5 dwelling units
- $45 annually for a structure containing 6 or more dwelling units
The Open Registration period for 2013 will be from October 1-31, 2012.
