I heard I may be eligible for free smoke detectors. How can I apply? |

Landlords may be eligible for free smoke detectors if they have apartments or housing for residents 65 years of age or older or rentals with children 5 years of age or younger. During the rental registration process, landlords can request these detectors by providing the address and number of detectors requested for each unit. Monmouth Fire Department (MFD) will install the detectors or landlords can install them if they prefer.
