WHAT IS MONMOUTH'S CURFEW?

For anyone under 17, the curfew hours are:

  • Midnight to 6 a.m., Friday and Saturday
  • 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday

Exemptions:

  • If you are engaged in business or occupation which the laws of the state authorize a person less than 17 to perform, you are exempt from the curfew.
  • If you are under 17, you may be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible companion who is at least 18 years of age and who is approved by your parent or legal guardian.

Note: If you are 16, your driver's license is not valid if you are violating curfew.
